Hi JD - that is a legitimate question. Being an old retired guy, though, I am not informed sufficiently to provide you a thoughtful answer. Given the 3-5 year lead time to bring new CIA people up to speed, however, I am dubious that any abrupt change will help our new administration (1) challenge determined adversaries who mean harm to America or (2) avoid unforced errors.
